How to remove a sticker from Telegram

Among Telegram's handiest features are Stickers, but in time, your collection might become cluttered. Whether you have added a sticker by accident, stopped using a sticker pack, or simply want a cleaner interface, Telegram offers you multiple ways of removing stickers both on mobile and desktop devices.

Removing Stickers on Telegram Mobile (iOS & Android)

Single Sticker Removal

If you want to delete only one sticker - say, one that you added by accident:

1. Open any chat in Telegram.

2. Tap the Sticker icon to open your sticker drawer.

3. Long-press on the sticker you want to remove.

4. When the menu appears, select Remove or Delete.

Note: Only single stickers that you have added to Favorites or imported manually can be removed.

Remove an Entire Sticker Pack

To completely get rid of a pack you no longer use:

1. Open Telegram and enter Settings.

1. Tap Stickers and Emoji.

1. Go to the Stickers tab.

2. Find the pack you want to remove.

1. Tap Delete or Remove Pack.

The pack being deleted will immediately update your sticker panel.

Removing Stickers on Telegram Desktop

Remove a Sticker Pack

1. Open Telegram Desktop.

2. Click the Menu icon (☰).

3. Go to Settings → Chat Settings → Stickers & Emoji.

4. View your list of stickers.

5. Click Remove next to the pack you wish to remove.

Remove a Single Sticker (Limitations)

You cannot remove individual stickers using Telegram Desktop.

You need to use the mobile application to delete a certain sticker.

Managing Your Favorite Stickers

Favorites are the most-used stickers, but they can quickly pile up.

To Remove a Sticker from Favorites

Mobile:

1. Open the sticker panel.

2. Go to the Favorites section (⭐).

3. Long-press on the sticker.

4. Tap Remove from Favorites.

Desktop:

1. Open the Favorites section.

2. Right-click on a sticker.

3. Click Remove from Favorites.

Tips to Keep Your Sticker Library Organized

• Remove unused packs regularly. 

• Organize sticker packs by dragging them into your desired order. 

• Use "Favorites" only for high-usage stickers. 

• Avoid downloading multiple similar packs.
