Telephones’ live streams, also referred to as live video broadcasts, enable you to share your screen view with thousands of others in groups, channels, or public live streams. Sharing your screen view is the best way for presentation, tutorials, gaming, webinars, or sharing apps/documents to your target. Until 2026, sharing your screen view has both mobile and computer capabilities for high-quality sharing and various camera angles.
Important Notes:
Open Telegram and navigate to the channel or group in which you want to stream.
Tap on the group/channel name at the top to open the info page.
Tap Start Live Stream (or the video camera icon if visible).
Before going live, you'll see the stream preview screen. Tap the Screen Share button (usually a monitor or share icon) at the bottom.
Choose what to share:
Click allow for screen recording/casting when prompted.
Tap Start Now or Go Live. Your screen will now be broadcast to all viewers.
Open the group or channel in Telegram Desktop.
Click the video camera icon or three-dot menu → Start Live Stream.
In the stream window, click the Share Screen button (monitor icon) in the bottom toolbar.
Choose the screen, window, or app that you want to share.
Click on Share. The stream will go live with your screen in view of the viewers.
Camera Overlay: You can turn your front or rear camera on during screen sharing to create a PiP for yourself.
Multiple Screens: On desktop, select which monitor to share if you have multiple displays.
Quality: Use a stable Wi-Fi connection; Telegram automatically adjusts resolution for viewers.
Stop Sharing: Tap the screen-share icon once more to stop and return to camera only.
Stream Ended: Click the red End button upon completion.
Screen Sharing adds a great dimension to Telegram for educational purposes such as teaching, business presentations, or product demonstration. Give it a try!
